We're back home in Indiana and what a wild few days we've had. We woke up Sunday to 65 degrees and high humidity - perfect fuel for the tornados that hit our area later in the day. We were very fortunate to not have any damage to our house, we only lost power for a couple of days. Our thoughts and prayers are with those that are suffering right now. That was a heck of a storm.
We just got news that Briagha was selected to play for Canadian Music Week in Toronto this coming May. We don't know when or where we'll be playing but we're just excited to be selected. "Simple Things" was selected to be put in the rotation for Women of Substance Radio and will be in their song rotation starting immediately. "Simple Things" was also selected for The Songwriter's Network online radio and it will debut between 6pm and 10pm this coming Saturday night, November 23rd. We're also pleased to announce that Briagha is the featured independent artist on page 34 of the national trade magazine, "I Am Entertainment." Cool.
Our LA trip was fantastic. The Kulak's Woodshed gig went really well. We got some amazing coaching. Briagha played at the M Bar in Hollywood for the LA Women in Music Singer Songwriter night and then we headed home where Briagha played at an amazing show in Delphi at the art gallery. Musicians wrote songs inspired by paintings and other works of art and vice versa. All of the songs were played that night and the feeling in the room was incredible. What a month we've been having! Thanks to all!
